Max Herliger Account
   Fictitious Schutzstaffel (SS) bank account set up in Swiss banks by Heinrich Himmler in September 1940 for the purpose of depositing all of the valuables confiscated from the Jews. This included precious jewelry, gold and silver items, and the gold teeth extracted from the Jewish victims in the camps. “Saintly Max,” as Himmler referred to the alleged account holder, did not exist.
