- General Plan For The East
Initially written on 15 July 1941 and finalized in May 1942, the General Plan for the East became the official policy of the Third Reich. The plan envisioned the removal of 80 to 85 percent of the Polish population, 64 percent of the Ukrainian, and 75 percent of the Belarussian and transporting them farther east, thus causing them to perish from disease and malnutrition. The plan, not counting the Jewish population, anticipated the forcible uprooting of at least 31 million people from their homes. The invasion of the Soviet Union extended the plan to a vastly larger area for its brutal and murderous policies
